Post-doc position in immunology

Topic: Innate immune cells and the maintaining of biological boundaries (epitheliums or endotheliums)

Duration: One year (with a probable extension of at least one year, subject to the results of pending funding applications)

Starting date: January 1st, 2016

Lab: CIRID, UMR5164, CNRS & Université de Bordeaux.

Group: Conceptual and theoretical analysis of immune activation and biological boundaries, headed by Thomas Pradeu

Funding: Bordeaux, IDEX.

Aim: analysis of the interactions between ILC2s and organism's boundaries in normal and pathological situations.

Requisite skills: immunohistology; immunofluorescence; bioimaging. In addition, good knowledge of general immunology will be an asset.

This work will be conducted within the research activities of Professor Patrick Blanco's group, in particular in close collaboration with Cécile Contin-Bordes and Marie-Elise Truchetet. Strong collaborations will also be expected with the members of Thomas Pradeu's ERC Starting Grant project.
