– Supervision of PhD students:

  • Oct 2014-Sept 2017: PhD dissertation in immunology on "Implication of innate immune cells in the homeostasis of organismal barriers" : Paôline Laurent (CIRID-ALYSAI). Supervised in close collaboration with Cécile Contin-Bordes.

– Participation in PhD defence committees:

  • Sept 18, 2015: PhD in medicine on "Quelle valeur accorder à l’élévation du ratio lymphocytaire CD4/CD8 dans le phénotypage lymphocytaire du sang : analyse d’une étude préliminaire et rétrospective au CHU de Bordeaux" : Alexandre Guy.

– Supervision of visiting students:

  • March 2-May 22, 2015 (3 months): Alexandra Zak, Master student in Biology, co-supervised with Jean-François Moreau. See here her very nice talk at our weekly seminar: "Le temps dans le système immunitaire" ("Time in the immune system")
  • June, 2015 (1 month): Sarah Yvonnet, student in Philosophy and in Biology, University of Bordeaux, co-supervised with Myriam Capone for the experimental part. Research topic: "How concepts influence experimental work in immunology: the case of immune memory"

 

 


From 2008 to 2014, I was Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Paris IV Paris-Sorbonne University. I taught mainly Philosophy of Biology, Philosophy of Science, Biology for Philosophers, and Epistemology. Below are examples of the classes I taught in 2013-2014.
